Beginning/Intermediate Drawing

Wednesdays, 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.
Participants will learn to “draw what you see” using basic line drawing, shading, and line hatching. Quick sketches and extended drawing times will help the student with visual cues and information and will provide a strong foundation for future artistic endeavors.

Paint from Photographs
(6 weeks)

Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
In this studio workshop, use acrylic or oil paints to develop visually strong painting with emphasis on composition, shapes and values. The essence of the workshop will be on how to make an exciting statement working from a photograph. From a simple lay-in to a developed painting, students will have several “sketches” and completed paintings. Please bring photographs.
